Crash on Loose Road, Wheatsheaf junction

A car was left badly damaged following a crash in Maidstone this morning.

It happened in Loose Road at the junction with Cranborne Avenue at 8.30am, and involved two cars.

The prang blocked the southbound carriageway near the Wheatsheaf pub and police were called.

No serious injuries were reported and the road is now clear.
