A main road in Maidstone was blocked following a rush hour crash involving a car and a motorbike.

The collision happened on the A20 Ashford Road at the junction with Huntsman Lane shortly after 5pm.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police were called to the scene and were diverting traffic via Square Hill Road.

Drivers were warned of delays by Kent Highways.
