Two cars have collided on Maidstone's one-way system.

The crash happened shortly after 3pm on Palace Avenue, close to the Magistrates' Court and police station.

Witnesses said the vehicles only appeared to have suffered minor damage.

Kent County Council said one lane was blocked close to the police station and warned drivers there could be delays in the area.
