Jason Urbanowicz from Newmarket missing after driving to Kent to say goodbye to children

A father who went missing after saying a tearful goodbye to his children has been found, police have confirmed.

Jason Urbanowicz, 43, left his home in Newmarket in Suffolk at 5.30am on Tuesday but failed to arrive at work.

He was believed to have driven to Aylesford to say goodbye to his children, and had not been seen since.

Posting on Facebook, sister Julie said her brother had been discovered in a hotel room in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

Officers were outside his former Heron Road home on Wednesday morning after the missing father-of-three called his ex-partner earlier in the day.

Suffolk Police launched an appeal for him to come home.

Mr Urbanowicz is thought to have left Kent in May after breaking up with his partner.

Suffolk Police confirmed he had been found.

"Police would like to thank media and public for their assistance with this appeal," said a spokesman.
