Don't park on double yellow lines... park on the pavement instead.

A Twitter user has vented frustration this afternoon at the number of cars parked illegally on Granville Road, Maidstone, by posting a photo of a car parked on the pavement.

The driver has avoided parking on the double yellow lines by instead parking their black Ford completely on the pavement.

The tweet is addressed to Kent Police and Maidstone Borough Council (MBC).

Tweets do not however constitute a report of an incident or issue to the police, so officers have not been called out.

MBC has been approached for comment.
