Up-and-coming pop-rock band Billy Wears Dresses will release their latest single on Monday.

This Is The Song is the band’s first single since signing to Inline Records.

Billy Wears Dresses comprises Martin Loft (vocals, lead guitar, mandolin, keyboards) and Ian Snowball (drums), both from Maidstone, Nick Spink (lead vocals, acoustic guitar) from Whitstable and Paul Moss (vocals, bass guitar) from Canterbury.

Chris Harvey, of Inline Records, said: “The band have been working hard in the studio and the material they have for release is absolutely stunning.

“HMV Maidstone and HMV Canterbury are the only stores in Kent to sell the CD. But it is also available for digital download from iTunes.”

The band shot to local stardom after making it to the final of kmfm’s Battle of the Bands last year. One of their songs was about delivering the KM Extra.
