Free pizza alert: fans queue as new Domino's dine-in gets ready to open

Free pizza is being given away by Domino's today as it prepares to open Kent's first dine-in restaurant, sparking a queue earlier this morning.

The fast-food chain has converted the former Spar shop in Loose, near Maidstone into a restaurant which offers table service as well as takeaway collection.

Opening time has been set for 1pm today and the first 250 people through the door will be able to get a cheese and tomato or pepperoni pizza for free. The store is in Boughton Parade.

A small group could be seen patiently sitting outside waiting for the moment.

As well as more traditional collection counters, the new Domino's will have 60 seats and tables where people can eat in.

The Spar store closed in May 2015 and work began in May this year to convert the building.

Today's launch will also see competitions to win one large pizza every month for a year, your height in pizza, or one of four £25 Domino’s dine-in vouchers.
