Mr Newitt had a son from a previous relationship, George Phillips, and a 20-year-old son, Ayden Diprose, also from Maidstone.

Last week, Kent Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

His nephew, Curtis Carreras was working with Mr Newitt at the time of the incident. He said: "It was only this morning I was working with you and within a second you were gone."
