Sutton Road, Maidstone, closed after lorry breaks down

A broken down lorry is causing traffic chaos on the Sutton Road this afternoon.

The major route into Maidstone has been sealed off between the Bircholt Road junction for Parkwood Industrial Estate and Wallis Avenue.

Police were called to the scene just after 11am and a recovery team is on the way. The lorry is said to be in the middle of the road.
