A 21-year-old man has been charged with robbery after a woman was reportedly punched in the face during a mugging.
The incident took place at about 2am on Sunday, March 18.
The woman, 19, is believed to have been hit twice, knocking her phone to the ground before it was taken.
Jordan MacDonald of Regency Place, Maidstone, was arrested and charged with robbery yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody.
