George Yelding, who was on Kent Police's Most Wanted list, remanded in custody after pleading guilty to seven charges

A burglar on Kent Police's most wanted list is now in custody.

George Yelding, of no fixed address, has pleaded guilty to seven charges including shoplifting and burglary.

The 22-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court via video link on Tuesday and will appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Thursday, March 19.

Yelding was arrested on Sunday.

He has been charged two shoplifting offences in Maidstone, with one in Tunbridge Wells and another in Greenhithe.

He has also been charged with two counts of burglary, one in Sevenoaks and one in Tonbridge, as well as attempted shoplifting in Dartford.
