Drivers heading in and out of a major town hit slow traffic earlier this morning after an accident involving a motorbike.

All lanes are now open after the road became partially blocked following the incident on the A249 Sittingbourne Road before junction seven of the M20 which was reported just before 8am.

Motorists had already been dealing with disruption on the road after a vehicle broke down.
