Cranbrook paedophile Chris Williams, director of VMA, faces jail for grooming after sting by The Hunted One

The former director of a Kent advertising agency has admitted attempting to meet a child after grooming him.

Chris Williams, who quit Headcorn-based VMA yesterday following his arrest on Sunday, now faces jail after arranging to meet a 14-year-old boy at Maidstone's Mote Park for oral sex.

The 49-year-old father-of-two, of Goudhurst Road, Cranbrook, had in fact been talking to a member of 'paedophile catcher' group The Hunted One.

Two men from the group then snared him as he arrived at the park on Sunday night.

They filmed Williams repeatedly apologising for his actions and read him back a series of sexually explicit messages he'd sent to the bogus schoolboy.

Eventually the police turn up and arrest Williams, who this afternoon appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court where he admitted the offence.

He was bailed on the condition he stay at his home address and will be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be decided.
