Searchers receive new witness report suggesting Pat Lamb may have been seen in Forstal Road near the Village Hotel and the Malta Inn

The search team looking for Pat Lamb are investigating possible new leads.

On Thursday, they received information from a lorry driver who believes he may have seen the 28-year-old walking in Forstal Road, near the Village Hotel and the Malta Inn.

The statement said he saw a man wearing a black jacket, dark trousers and shoes close to the Village Hotel in the early hours of Saturday, December 13.

Another possible sighting is on the M2 between junctions 3 and 4, which searches say correlates with the timing of the lorry driver's account.

In an attempt to investigate these reports, the Lamb family has appealed for anyone with private land or CCTV in the areas identified to come forward.

Yesterday, campaigners searching for the broadcast engineer tried to make their campaign trend on social media to mark the fourth week of Pat's disappearance.

They asked supporters to use the hashtag #findpatlamb on Twitter in a coordinated effort from 6am tomorrow morning.

Thousands of tweets were posted and the message trended in Tunbridge Wells and Canterbury.

A night earlier numerous tweets were posted in an effort to raise national awareness for the hunt to find Pat Lamb.

The message was retweeted by celebrities including Eastenders' Danny- Boy Hatchard, Neighbours' Alan Fletcher and Coronation Street's Kym Marsh retweeting messages.

Since midnight profile pictures on Facebook and Twitter were also replaced with posters urging people to come forward with any information they may have.

The campaign has already gained a huge amount of support on social media, with more than 47,000 people following the Help find Patrick Lamb page on Facebook.

The tweets were timed to begin at midnight and have continued into the early hours of the morning.

Countless members of the public shared the message, as have businesses and councils.

Yesterday Pat Lamb's sister, Zoe Lamb, told KMTV that her family will not stop their hunt for the broadcast engineer until he is found.

She said: "It's less likely people will keep looking out for his face if we don't keep it in the public eye.

"Until Patrick's found we will continue to keep the public aware that he is missing and he does need to be found.

"If Patrick is out there and he wants time away from things that's completely understandable.

"We are all supporting him as a family but he does need to let us know."

Today two large banners will be placed in prominent locations for passing motorists to see.

Precise locations have not been announced, but areas near Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres are being considered.

Pat's family have worked with the KM Group to create a video reenacting his last known movements.

Brother Paul wore clothes similar to ones the Greenhithe man wore when he disappeared during the early hours of Saturday, December 13.

Pat became separated from his friends after having drinks at Bar Chocolate, in Maidstone's Market Buildings.

CCTV cameras picked him up walking down the High Street, near Pudding Lane, and again crossing the road at Fairmeadow.

He was heading towards the River Medway but daily searches and three dives by specially trained police officers have not found him.

On Sunday 500 helium balloons carrying missing posters will be released at Mote Park.

This will take place at 2pm and supporters are asked to attend and donate £1 to release their own balloon. This will help cover costs incurred from the search.

If you have any information on Pat Lamb, from the night he went missing or any potential sightings, contact Kent Police on 101.
