Pipes, power tools and computer stolen during Maidstone building site burglary

Detectives have launched an investigation after power tools, piping and a laptop computer were stolen during a burglary at a building site.

Officers were called after thieves entered the building site at Newnham Court Way, Maidstone, between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Police officers received a report that between 7.40pm on Tuesday, April 10, and 6.30am on Wednesday, April 11.

“Offenders have entered a building site and stolen copper piping and fittings, power tools and a laptop computer.”
