Helicopter called to hunt down white BMW which allegedly drove off from collidision with Ford Mondeo on London Road, near Sainsbury's in Larkfield

The police helicopter was called last night to try and hunt down a driver who allegedly drove away from an accident.

Pilots were searching for a white BMW following a collision with a Ford Mondeo in the London Road, near the Sainsbury’s supermarket and South Aylesford Retail Centre, at 11.30pm.

It was in the sky for about 45 minutes but could not find the suspect.

A police helicopter was use to search for the driver of a crashed car.

Police say their investigations ongoing and could not release more details about the accident.
