Police are investigating reports of a rape in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is reported that a woman was raped by a man in an alleyway near Rose Yard, Maidstone, between 3am and 4.43am.

The suspect is described as being black, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, slim with short hair.

Officers are conducting enquiries into the incident and would like to speak to members of the public who saw anything suspicious at the time.
