Kent motorway speeder in Maserati issued ticket

A Maserati driver caught driving at almost 96mph on a Kent motorway has been issued with a traffic offence report.

Police stopped the Maserati driver on the M20 between junction 9 for Ashford and 8 for Leeds.

Officers had recorded the car travelling at 95.83mph when it was caught on the evening of Wednesday, April 19.

The team was returning from a fatal collision in New Romney at the time and the driver was issued with a traffic offence report.

Fixed Penalty Notices or Traffic Offence Reports can be issued for a wide range of traffic offences, including driving without due care and attention, using a mobile phone whilst driving, obstruction, vehicle defects and no insurance.
