Teen killed in bearsted crash

A teenage driver has died in a car crash on the A20 at Bearsted.
The red Ford Ka he was driving was the only vehicle involved in the incident which happened at 2.15am (Saturday, January 25) near to the Tudor Park Hotel. It's thought the car left the road and hit a tree before flipping onto its roof back on the main carriageway.

The 18-year-old driver died at the scene. His 19-year-old passenger remains in a critical condition at a London hospital.
Pol Sgt Christopher Wade of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Collision investigators are carrying out a number of enquiries following this incident and would urge any drivers or pedestrians travelling along this road at the time who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicle prior to the incident, to contact us as soon as possible."
