A crash caused delays heading out of Maidstone on Monday afternoon.

Police were called to the Chatham-bound carriageway near Maidstone at at 12.53pm.

On arrival, officers discovered two vehicles had crashed.

The road was temporarily closed for police to respond and the vehicles to be moved.

No injuries were reported and the road was reopened at 1.20pm.
