Two taken to hospital after crash on Seven Mile Lane Mereworth

Two people have been rushed to hospital after a crash.

Police were called at around 10.45am after the a collision involving two cars on Seven Mile Lane near Mereworth.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where two people were treated for injuries. They have been taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

Traffic is now returning to normal after after a road closure was put in police.

Motorists had to contend with disruption on the route for some time as they waited for Highways Officers to clean up an oil spill caused by the crash and recover the two vehicles.
