Police arrested a woman on suspicion of growing cannabis after attending a property in Chart Sutton when concerns were raised for her welfare.

Officers and paramedics attended the home in Chart Hill Road around 7.30pm last night and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

While at the address a number of cannabis plants were discovered and she was arrested and bailed until Sunday, March 5.

Forensics officers remained at the scene this morning and a spokesman for Kent Police said the force is still carrying out additional enquiries.
