A pensioner has died in a town centre opticians.
Police were called to Tinsons Opticians, in Middle Row, Maidstone, at 1.35pm after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman in her late 80s.
An ambulance and a response car were sent to the scene after reports the woman had collapsed but resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
All emergency have now left the scene but the opticians remains closed.
