Woman sexually assaulted on recreation ground in Eccles, Aylesford

A drunken attacker sexually assaulted a woman on a recreation ground in Eccles.

The victim told officers that as she entered the field through a gate in Hawkes Road, she heard a wolf whistle come from some distance away.

A man approached her, abused her verbally, sexually assaulted her and hit her in the face.

She said the suspect smelt of alcohol and was slurring his words as he spoke.

The offence is reported to have happened in the recreation ground, Bull Lane, between 10.30pm and 10.40pm on Friday, August 28.

The attacker was mixed race, of slim build, and about 6ft tall.

He was wearing dark coloured clothes at the time and possibly had gelled, medium length hair.
