Maidstone United striker Dumebi Dumaka completes permanent move to Dulwich Hamlet

Maidstone United promotion hero Dumebi Dumaka has signed for Dulwich Hamlet after a successful loan spell at Champion Hill.

It was Dumaka’s equaliser in the dying seconds of extra time that took the National South play-off final at Ebbsfleet to penalties.

But he couldn't force his way into United’s National League side this season, moving to Hamlet on loan and scoring seven goals in 12 games.

The striker, linked with West Ham before signing for Maidstone in February, has now made the move permanent.

Stones boss Jay Saunders said: “Although his time here was relatively short, he’s written himself into the club history books with that goal at Stonebridge Road last season.

“Me and the rest of the lads wish DD every success at Dulwich and thank him for the contribution he made towards our promotion to the National League.”
