Manager Tommy Warrilow will give trialists the chance to impress when Tonbridge Angels play a pre-season friendly in Belgium.

Other commitments mean a number of first-team players will miss the match against Belgian Second Division side KVV Vosselaar on Saturday.

Boss Warrilow, who is in talks with a centre-half, said: “We’re looking forward to it but a few of the lads can’t make the trip, so there’ll be an opportunity for trialists again.

“They’ve got to do well and be better than what I’ve got if I’m going to sign any of them."

Summer signing Luke Blewden is among the players staying at home but he scored Angels’ second-half equaliser in a 1-1 draw at home to Conference Premier new boys Welling on Tuesday.

Blewden also scored twice in Angels’ 5-1 win over Tunbridge Wells last Saturday.
