Paramedics take 19-year-old motorcyclist to Tunbridge Wells Hospital following accident in Forstal Road, Aylesford

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car this morning.

Emergency services were called to Forstal Road, Aylesford, close to the junction of Beddow Way at around 7.45am.

He was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital by ambulance with injuries to his leg and wrist and suspected pelvic injuries.

The driver of the car was also taken to hospital.

Forstal Road was closed for almost two hours and the air ambulance was called.

Kent Police are now gathering CCTV to work out what caused the accident.

Kent Highways asked motorists to avoid the area and use an alternative route where possible.
