Motorists suffered long delays on the M20 tonight.
A broken down vehicle near the central reservation meant a lane of the motorway between J5 for Aylesford and J6 for Blue Bell Hill and Chatham was closed.
It happened at around 5.40pm and the vehicle was later moved to the hard shoulder.
However, lengthy queues built up and did not clear until around 6.20pm.
