Fatal crash near Offham closes Seven Mile Lane from A20 and A26

A man has been killed in a crash involving two cars near Offham this morning.

Police are appealing for information about the accident, which happened on Seven Mile Lane near the junction of Comp Lane, just south of Wrotham Heath, at about 6.50am.

A blue Nissan Navara and a silver Ford Fiesta were involved in the crash, with the driver of the Fiesta pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Navara was taken to Tunbridge Wells hospital with minor injuries to his chest.

Paramedics in two ambulance and two cars attended the scene along with air ambulance clinicians who attended in a road vehicle.

The entire stretch of Seven Mile Lane was closed in both directions until 4.25pm while investigations were carried out.

Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicles before the incident or shortly after the collision to come forward.
