Kent Police wish to speak to this man after Larkfield taxi driver robbery

A taxi driver was repeatedly punched by a group of robbers who refused to pay their fare.

The driver, who works for a Maidstone cab firm, picked up two men and a woman from Dickens Road in Maidstone on Saturday, December 12.

But he got into an argument with the group when they refused to pay once they had arrived in Larkfield.

The cabbie was reportedly punched in the face by one of the men as he got out of the taxi to confront them.

The other man is then said to have punched him in the head, before all three ran away in the direction of Lunsford Lane.

The attack happened between 4pm and 4.20pm.

The men are described as being in their 20s and 30s and were wearing black clothing - one was slim, the other of heavy build.

An e-fit image of the older man has been released, who was described as wearing a hoodie with orange-coloured fur around the edge.
