A light trail has returned this winter with a brand new theme and installations.

The park will be lit up with a display inspired by this year’s theme: A Midwinter Night's Dream.

Walkabout performers, as well as immersive and interactive experiences are part of the trail, with all of the light installations made by local and UK artists specifically for the month-long event.

Guests can meander through an "enchanted woodland" and stroll through the Christmas village.

Stop off for a festive treat along the way and enjoy the light projections and installations in the "ocean realm".

The park also offers sensory sessions, which are quieter evenings with less people for guests who need a lower sensory experience.

Younger visitors can enjoy a bookable Meet Father Christmas experience and dog-lovers are invited to bring their four-legged family members along too.

Creative director Lisa Carpendale said: “It’s really important to me that this event is as accessible as possible.

"My team and I have worked really hard to create a spectacular experience that feels cosy and intimate, rather than overwhelming.

"We are so excited to welcome people to the event and provide a magical experience for everyone.

“We could all do with some extra festive cheer this year and our event will give people an affordable and wonderful night out under the stars.
