West Malling: Cyclist robbed on Kings Hill bypass, A228

A cyclist was beaten and robbed by three men on a bypass in the early hours of this morning.

The 18-year-old was with two friends on Kings Hill bypass, A228, close to West Malling train station between 12.30am and 12.45am

The victim told police a car stopped and that they were approached by the passengers.

It is reported the victim was punched and kicked by the at least two men and that they stole his bike, along with some cash and other items including two mobile phones.

One of the victim’s friends was then reportedly pursued by the car as he tried to get away on his bike.

The car is described as a silver saloon, possibly a BMW or Vauxhall.
