Someone’s leaving £5 notes in Butchers cat food at Tesco in Larkfield

A mysterious benefactor has been leaving envelopes containing £5 notes in cat food packs.

Marie Wenham found the cash alongside an inspirational message when she returned from her shop at Tesco in Lunsford Park, near Larkfield.

It contained a message which read: "May all your days be filled with happiness and love.

"I have discovered that giving away money attracts more to my life."

Mrs Wenham, who lives in Morris Close, East Malling, went shopping at the supermarket, off Lunsford Lane, on Sunday, but only discovered the gift yesterday.

The 47-year-old said: "It put a massive smile on my face.

"It's nice to know that there are still nice people in the world."

Tesco has been approached for comment.
