Fire crews have been called to the scene of a gas explosion at Addington near West Malling.

Three people have been treated by paramedics for injuries including shock and minor burns after the explosion of a blowtorch gas bottle in a private property in Clearway, Addington

The building is said to have been severely damaged.

It happened in Clearway at around 11.45am.

Fire crews remain in attendance to assist in making the scene safe and have been joined by a gas safety engineer and a local authority officer.

Police officers also attended.
