M20: Dashcam records moment a lorry crashed into a car

A driver has captured the terrifying moment his car was allegedly struck by a lorry on a Kent motorway on his dash-cam.

Scott Hall had been returning home from a trip to Hever Castle on the M20 with Beth and daughter Lily shortly before 6.30pm when the family's vehicle was reportedly shunted along the motorway.

The dramatic footage shows the car spinning around, with smoke coming from the rear tyres, before coming to a standstill in the middle of the carriageway.

It happened between Junction 2 for Sevenoaks and Junction 3 for the M26.

Posting the video online, Mr Hall said: "Outside Beth and Lily's window was the front of the HGV as it pushed us along the M20. We are all ok. Cannot say the same for the car though."

Police were called to scene, but no arrests were made and no injuries reported.
