Woman cut free by firefighters after two-vehicle crash in Station Road, Aylesford

A woman had to be cut free from a vehicle by firefighters after being involved in a two-vehicle crash near a village car park.

Two fire engines were called to Station Road, Aylesford, earlier this evening.

Crews attended shortly after 5pm and cut away at one of the vehicles to release a woman.

She was then handed into the care of paramedics who checked a further five people over.

Police were also sent to the scene and confirmed only minor injuries were reported.

Arrangements were made to recover the vehicles involved.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
