Passers-by helped the trapped woman in City Way, Rochester

A young woman had a lucky escape when her car flipped onto its roof in Rochester.

She was left dangling by her seat belt after her Corsa collided with a parked car in City Way.

The incident happened around 1.20pm on Sunday.

A witness said: “She was only hanging from her seat belt for a short while.

“People came over and helped her and she got out of the car and didn’t seem injured.”
