Emergency services called to Courteney Road, Gillingham, after car ends up on side after driver loses control

A car has ended up on its side after the driver lost control in a road in Gillingham.

Police were called to Courteney Road after the vehicle crashed near the Delphi factory shortly before 10am.

Officers cordoned off one lane of the road. It is not thought anyone suffered serious injury.

The incident was captured on camera by Geoff Watkins a Medway driving instructor.

A spokesman for police said: "Kent Police were called at 9.43am on Monday, November 21, after a car overturned on Courteney Road, Gillingham.

"Officers attended and the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.

"The road is now clear."
