CCTV released after petrol station staff ‘racially abused’ in Dock Road, Chatham

CCTV has been released after petrol station staff were racially abused by a suspected thief.

Employees of the store in Dock Road, Chatham, say they were threatened by a man who left without paying for two drinks.

He is alleged to have racially abused staff members who sought to intervene and threatened to harm them.

It happened at around 9.15am on Thursday, March 28.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers have been investigating this incident and are now able to issue an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.”
