CCTV released of man hunted over 'sex attack' on young woman in Wayfields area of Chatham

This man is being hunted over an alleged sex attack on a young woman in Chatham.

The CCTV image has been released after the woman, in her 20s, said she was assaulted in the Wayfield area.

She has described her attacker as a stocky white man, in his mid-20s, with short blond hair and about 5ft 7in.

Detectives have reviewed CCTV footage and have now released an image of a man who they think can help with their inquiries.

The attack is said to have happened in a property between 12.30am and 1.15am on Sunday, May 11. Police have only released details today.

Anyone who recognises the man in the picture is asked to phone DS Darryll Paulson on 01634 792645, quoting XY/016524/14.
