Police seize cocaine, heroin and gun from properties in Rochester and Wainscott

Cocaine, heroin and a gun were found during raids on two properties.

Two people were charged over the supply of the class A drugs following the searches carried out in Rochester.

The Medway Operation Raptor team searched properties in King Street, Rochester, and Miller Way, Wainscott, on Monday, February 17.

At both addresses, a quantity of drugs were found.

Police also uncovered what is believed to be a handgun and £3,000 at the Wainscott property.

They arrested Jamal Fournillier and Dejan Hunter and charged them with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of criminal property.

Fournillier, 26, of Livingstone Road, Gillingham, and Hunter, 24, of Miller Way, Wainscott, appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Fournillier was remanded in custody whilst Hunter was granted bail.

Both are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, March 17.
