You will notice we've made some alterations to the paper to give it a bit of a new year make-over. Just a few changes to give it a more modern, stylish feel. We hope you like it.

It still features all your usual favourites including Box Clever, Coffee Break, Start Your Week, Monday Moan, Going Out and Take 5 - and of course, all the latest new and sport.

Today’s edition has tributes to 17-year-old Augustine Carnell, from Rochester, who was killed as he walked home on New Year's Day.

We’ve got the latest from Medway Maritime Hospital which has had to close two wards due to an outbreak of Norovirus.

We also look back at our year supporting the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Unit, our charity of the year for 2013.

Gills had a great win at Priestfield on Friday; we’ve got five pages of report and reaction in sport.

There is the pick of the top TV shows in Box Clever – plus cinema, art, theatre and more in Going Out.

If your New Year's resolution is to get fit - check out the latest workout wear in Take 5.

We would like to apologise for a couple of production errors in today's paper including the missing weather on page 2. For the last forecast where you live, visit http://www.kentonline.co.uk/kentonline/news/weather.aspx
