Blue Bell Hill: Traffic returned to normal after accident caused delays on A229

Drivers are being told traffic has returned to normal on the northbound A229 at Blue Bell Hill.

Police said reports came in at 9.45am of a crash on the stretch of road between a lorry and two cars.

Although there were no reported injuries, a spokesman said KCC Highways were contacted to clear up a fuel spillage.

There was queuing traffic on the road before the M2 around Buckmore Park (the Lord Lees Roundabout).
