Guest speakers announced as Medway Business and Skills Showcase event at MidKent College in Gillingham draws closer

The guest speakers have been announced for a major business event.

The inaugural Medway Business and Skills Showcase will be hosted by MidKent College in Gillingham on Wednesday, April 10.

The free event is aimed at all businesses in Medway, whether they are just starting out or already well-established.

It will feature appearances from keynote speakers and now, event organisers have revealed who these experts will be.

These business voices include:

Tudor Price, chief executive at Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Price has experience setting up small businesses and continues to have commercial interests outside of the Chamber.

He has a 25-year background in careers, education, skills, and economic growth, having spent his early career in schools and colleges and been CEO at the Futures Group before starting at the CEC.

Lynne Parker, founder of Funny Women – a company that promotes women performers and comedians and helps women build self-confidence and develop their own distinctive voice.

Zoe Cairns, an international speaker on social media who teaches businesses how to increase their online presence.

Her guidance benefits both big brands and smaller ventures, ensuring their online campaigns shine, and has shared her expertise on TV shows such as ITV's This Morning and BBC World News.

Patrick Cantellow, a digital marketing manager at Knauf, will voice the challenges a Gen Z employee faces when working in an industry where most are looking to retire.

A Gen Z apprentice himself in 2016, Patrick now finds himself managing them.

The event is set to run between 8.30am and 4.15pm
