A man has been charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine after a raid at a home in the Towns.

Officers executed a warrant at a property in Lodge Hill Lane, Chattenden, on Thursday, January 25, where they say a significant amount of Class A drugs was seized.

Batare Evwierhoma, 24, of Birkhall Road, Catford, London, was arrested at the scene and later charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

He appeared before magistrates in Medway on Friday, January 26, and was remanded in custody.

The case is being investigated by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate and a date for his next court appearance is yet to be set.
