Man hurt in mobility scooter crash in Chatham

A man has been injured in a mobility scooter crash this evening.

Eyewitnesses say the scooter tipped over near the petrol station in Dock Road, Chatham, just after 5pm.

Police were called and officers found the man upright in his mobility scooter, which is thought to have been righted by members of the public.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
