Driver of white MG HS arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after crash with grey Vauxhall Corsa near Medway Tunnel in Pier Road, Gillingham

A 48-year-old has been arrested after reportedly trying to ram another driver off the road outside a police station.

The driver of a white MG HS was involved in a crash with a grey Vauxhall Corsa near the Medway Tunnel in Pier Road, Gillingham, on Thursday, February 1.

It is believed to have happened outside Medway Police Station at about 3.45pm.

Police say the MG driver caused the Vauxhall to swerve towards a road barrier, before he then manoeuvred his car in front of the victim.

He then reportedly came to a deliberate and sudden stop, which caused the Vauxhall to crash into the back of the MG.

Police attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing criminal damage.

He has been bailed, pending further enquiries, until April 30.

Dashcam footage is now bring sought by officers as part of their investigation.
