A man's body has been found in a van in Cliffe.
The discovery was made just after 3pm in Common Lane, which has been closed to traffic.
Police said the discovery is linked to a Rochester man who went missing earlier today.
His death is not being treated as suspicious, according to a police spokesman.
His next of kin have been informed.
The case will be passed to the coroner.
