Air ambulance called after pedestrian hit by van in Church Lane, Chatham

A pedestrian was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital after being hit by a van .

Emergency services were called to Church Lane, Chatham around 12.45pm yesterday.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was treated for an injury to his abdomen, hand and lower leg.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance attended.

The air ambulance landed in the Historic Dockyard Chatham and the patient was taken to hospital by road.
