Emergency crews called to concerns for welfare in Gillingham High Street

Police and ambulance crews were called after a man was spotted on scaffolding 40ft above Gillingham High Street.

Emergency services were called just before 1am this morning and surrounding streets were cordoned off.

Ambulance crews say the man was brought down to safety and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with minor injuries.
